Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security solutions for networks, systems, and applications
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and other security tools
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing
- Respond to and investigate security incidents
- Develop security policies and procedures
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in IT security or systems administration
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Experience with security tools (firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Certifications like CISSP, CEH, or Security+ preferred
